We are looking for a Hip Hop dance teacher to join us for the Fall 2025 semester starting on Sept 2nd!

Sundays 9:30am-12:30pm with one additional day per week to be determined, with the opportunity choreography and performance

Must live in SF and have a reliable commute to Outer Richmond

The job:

- Teach Hip Hop Fitness for Adults 9:30-11am and Hip Hop to Intermediate level Teens 11am-12:30pm, and Elementary School Boys (class day TBD and will be negotiated with the teacher)
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the goals of the Dance Garden
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to plan performances and recitals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes

Experience:

- Previous experience teaching dance classes, preferably in a studio or educational setting
-If you have less than a year of experience, there is teacher training offered for this position
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
