Our Classes and Camps
Movement is a human's first form of expression! Research shows that a child’s academic, self-esteem, cognitive, motor, and social developmental skills INCREASE when they participate in a performance-focused art form. And DANCE is the leader - especially for
the learning child.
DANCE teaches children to think in a totally different way. Emotion and imagery get translated into movement - a powerful tool for kids who may still have challenges expressing themselves verbally about their feelings or ideas. And, important to many parents, Dance teaches creative skills and self awareness.

SCHOOL TOUR

Each Fall semester, students from the Dance Garden audition for a dance performance OR Musical. We then take this show to local elementary schools as many times that we can book in a few days the 2nd to last week of the 2026 school year in December. We call this TOUR and it is the closest experience of what a professional dancer’s life is like that I can offer my students. Dance teaches self-discipline, strength and flexibility of mind and body, team work and self-confidence. Teachers and schools like our shows because they are unique: children performing FOR children! The experience is inspiring for the young audiences watching and boosts the performance level of the DG dancers!
